The Behavior Center is a private practice that offers ABA services to children with a range of developmental disabilities. We have been practicing in Hong Kong for over ten years and work with a diverse population of families, usually providing services at home or in school. We aim to teach functional, practical skills to children and their families and are proud of making meaningful changes to their lives. 

 

Currently we are seeking someone with experience in the field of ABA, preferably with children who have special needs, to conduct individual behavior therapy sessions with clients. Therapists are supervised by a BCBA. Please note that we are not hiring full-time employees but rather seeking to work with independent contractors on a fluctuating basis depending on the current hours required for the clients. This allows for great flexibility in scheduling and autonomy, unlike many center-based ABA programs. 

 

Duties include the following:

• Implementation of various methods of ABA with children in their home or school

• Ability to collect accurate and regular data in each session and graph data monthly

• Write session summaries and share with clients and supervising BCBA weekly via email

• Collect video clips of sessions for supervision purposes

• Be confident to work with caregivers and provide training and modeling as appropriate

• Energetic and enthusiastic about working with children 

• Be flexible and adapt behavior programs as needed in order to ensure progress 

• Conduct sessions as naturally as possible depending on the child’s needs and level of functioning

 

Our therapists are paid hourly at a competitive rate. Transportation fees are charged to clients who are located in the New Territories or Outlying Islands.
